YogaFit

YogaFit is designed to improve the health, performance and mental acuity of athletes or individuals interested in improving their level of fitness. Based on the ancient fitness science of hatha yoga, it blends balance, strength, flexibility and power in a fitness format. Bring a towel and water and come dressed to participate.

Lisa Williams is an alumna and current Sun Devil Fitness Complex program coordinator.

Stress is a fact of life for most people. Come and understand the stress response and the implications of exposure to prolonged stress. Learn stress coping skills and reduction exercises.

Qi Gong

Qi Gong is an exercise system that promotes physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing. Attendees will experience a variety of Qi Gong movements and meditative breathing. The session may reduce stress, increase mental clarity and rejuvenate physical health. 

Dress in soft, loose-fitting exercise clothing; barefoot, non-slippery socks or soft-soled indoor shoes; and bring a bottle of water for hydration.

Superfoods are nutrient powerhouses that pack large doses of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. A cooking demonstration will show you simple recipes that taste great and keep you healthy.

MOM: Mobile On-Site Mammography

Mobile on-site mammography will be at the Downtown Phoenix campus. MOM’s professional staff uses the latest digital technology.  

What to bring:

  • doctor’s name and address
  • insurance card
  • previous mammogram locations

Women under age 35 need a doctor’s referral. Baseline mammograms start at age 35-39; most insurance plans cover them yearly after age 40.
