Borderlands Produce Rescue – ASU West

Produce on Wheels Without Waste disperses 10 million pounds of fresh, rescued produce annually to communities at various sites throughout southern Arizona and the metropolitan Tucson and Phoenix service areas. 

Contribute $12 to shop for up to 70 pounds of fresh produce for your family or to share with neighbors, friends or someone in need. 

Distribution of produce will take place at the ASU West campus. 

How to be a Competitive Applicant Workshop Series: Application Review - West

Many medical school and graduate school applications are due about this time of the year. Bring your complete application materials to be reviewed by your pre-health and career services adviser. Future Sun Devil Family Day

Future Sun Devil Family Day opens the door to college. 

It's never too early to plan for college. That's why Arizona State University is inviting middle and high school students and their parents from across the valley to Future Sun Devil Family Day.

This free half-day, college-prep conference equips parents and students with the critical information needed to pursue higher education  and achieve college success. 

MOM - Mobile On-Site Mammography

Mobile on-site mammography will be at the West campus. MOM’s professional staff uses the latest digital technology.  

What to bring:

  • Doctor’s name and address.
  • Insurance card.
  • Previous mammogram locations.

Women age 35 and younger need a doctor’s referral. Baseline mammograms start at age 35 to 39.  Most insurance plans cover them yearly after age 40.

DIY Music Day

The day begins with a workshop for high school band students by clarinetist Joshua Bennet, ASU faculty member Barry Moon, and students in the IAP Scratch Orchestra.

Participants will design wind and percussion instruments using utilitarian hardware. Bring mouthpieces, head-joints, mallets or other parts of your instrument that can be adapted to plumbing and other hardware.
