Job Hunting, Internship Searching and Hot Cocoa

At the Job Hunting, Internship Searching and Hot Cocoa event, students and their Career Peer will navigate the many platforms for job searching, professional and career profiles and more within ASU and outside of the university. Students will learn where to begin and gain insight into the job and internships search and application processes, as well as get acquainted with platforms and programs suited to their majors, interests and experience as students and professionals.

Fall Faculty Lecture Series: Dan Collins

The Art Grads (TAG) is a student organization representing the graduate art students in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. This fall, TAG will be hosting the 2018 Faculty Lecture Series with Dan Collins starting off this Thursday! These opportunities to engage with professors in the School of Art and learn more about their research and artistic practices include a 45-minute lecture and Q&A session to follow.

Doctoral Student Recital: Ayisha Moss, Violin

Ayisha Moss presents a lecture recital featuring works by Puerto Rican composers Hector Campos Parsi and Jack Delano. The program includes performances of two Arizona premiers, Parsi's "Sonatina No. 2 for Violin and Piano" and Delano's "Sonata for Violin and Piano." This recital is in partial fulfillment of the Doctor of Musical Arts in music degree requirements.

Frankenstein Bicentennial Celebration: An Evening with Max Brooks

Celebrate the culmination of the ASU Frankenstein Bicentennial Project. Explore the themes of Mary Shelley’s novel as expressed in exhibits and performances by artists and scientists.

Max Brooks is a problem solving thought leader, zombie-lore expert and best-selling author of "The Zombie Survival Guide," "World War Z," "The Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Attacks," and "Minecraft: The Island: A Novel."
