Project Management Professional Exam Tips and Tricks

I hope your day is going well. I got some additional feedback from the rest of the PMN team, and we want to adjust how we are describing the workshop. Could you update the description in the event registration so that reads as follows:

This fast-paced workshop will cover best strategies and resources for passing the PMP exam. If you are interested in the Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate, we invite you to participate in this workshop led by two ASU staff who passed the PMP exam this summer.

Note: Beginning January 2018, the Project Management Institute (pmi.org) will test on the 6th edition of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). Information delivered during this session will pertain to 5th edition, but techniques for the exam are universal.

We recommend to bring (but do not require):

•  a laptop

•  a copy of the PMBOK (5th edition), and

• a copy of PMP Exam Prep, Eighth Edition- Updated: Rita’s Course in a Book for Passing the PMP Exam

Participants are not required to have an application submitted for the PMP exam, but should review exam requirements before the workshop: https://www.pmi.org/certifications/types/project-management-pmp
