Building Your Scholarly Identity

As a researcher, having an online presence can provide a number of benefits. Part of the Graduate Scholars Toolkit, this one-hour workshop will teach you how to establish and manage your scholarly identity using tools such as ORCID, connect with colleagues, find collaborators and expose your research to new audiences. You'll also learn how to boost your scholarly impact using social media and alternative metrics that come with new methods of knowledge communication and online dissemination.

The Graduate Scholars Toolkit workshop series is a way for ASU students to connect with the tools and information they need to succeed in graduate school. Workshops are offered on all campuses at various times throughout the semester, with more online offerings to come.
