Welcome back to the Spring 2008 semester at the Downtown Phoenix campus. We are excited about your participation in the development of the next phase of our campus. Your commitment in the New American University; One University in Many Places has allowed ASU to become one of the largest public universities in the United States.

In the future months you will begin to see substantial completion of the landscape and architecture of the Downtown Phoenix campus. The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication and Eight/KAET will open their brand new 6 story facility in fall 2008. The first phase of our new residential community, Taylor Place will open with 750 beds in fall 2008 and additional 500 beds in fall 2009. Taylor Place Mall will be a dynamic faraway in the heart of the campus that will connect the Arizona Center to the New Civic Space, which will be a multipurpose park in the middle of our campus.

It is the Division of Student Affairs commitment to engage you as an individual, challenge you to explore and create as many possibilities as you have interests, assist you in achieving all your academic goals, and prepare you for the next phase of your life.
