Testing Accommodations
The Disability Resource Center (DRC) recommends and provides academic testing accommodations for qualified students with disabilities. DRC disability professionals determine student eligibility and authorize accommodations prior to students receiving services. All students receiving testing accommodations through the DRC must follow the ASU Academic Integrity Policy.
Based on documented need, accommodations may be recommended as appropriate, e.g.,
- Readers and/or Scribes
- Alternative Print Formats (e.g., Braille, Large Print, E-Text)
- Extended test time
- Assistive technology (e.g., computer, Franklin Speller, four-function calculator)
- Reduced distraction rooms
